[MIA] Clan Award and Recognition Program

The new year has brought a new set of rewards for clan members. These will now be awards/medals that each member can earn by participating in the clan community. Some of these awards will be Real Military Dog Tags that will be sent to your house, while others while be web site recognition for the whole world to see. The [MIA] Dog Tags be setup just like BF2/2142. The Black one will be your Basic Badge. The Silver will be your Advanced Badge. The Gold will be you Expert Badge. These will not be easy to get, but will show your dedication to the [MIA] gaming community. Here is a list of the Medals and there requirements.

Player of the Week Medal:
I will post a forum post every 2 weeks. In this post you will need to tell other members why you think you should be Player of the Week, try hard to convince them. This post will be up for 10 days. I will then setup a poll for the community to choose who they think is the best member for Player of the Week. This poll will run for 4 days, so review the Player of the Week competitors story and vote!
This award can be won every 3 months. Your first one is your basic badge, your second advanced and your third Expert. This award will be a badge that is sent to your home.

There will also be a bonus badge
At the end of each Quarter you will have a chance to win dual Dog Tags as the MIAClan.net Player of the Quarter. These tags will be expert tags.

Inner Clan Combat Medal
Inner Clan Battle Medals can be earned by participating in practices scrimmages or matches. Any matches that are recorded though our community wars page will count as points towards your Inner Clan Battle Badge. You will receive 1 Battle point for every 2 matches you attend. After you get a total of 50 points you will receive your basic badge, 100 for your Advanced Badge and 200 for your Expert Badge.

Distinguished Service Medal

Active Duty Medals can be earned by participating in the [MIA] clan community. Posting in the shoutbox, forum, posting picture, videos, etc will earn points towards your Active Duty Badge. To get your Basic Badge you will need to have 500 forum post and 500 leader points, for the Advanced Badge 1000 forum posts and 1000 leader points, for Expert Badge 1500 leader points and 1500 forum posts. This badge will take time to earn but will be well worth it. Please note that spammed messages for points will be deleted and points removed. You can also be rewarded points for going that extra mile and volunteering for help when I need it. Note: Spamming the forum or Shout Box will result in negative points.

Meritorious Service Medal (TeamWork)
Meritorious Service Medal, will be earned by the member, with the biggest increase in Team Work points in a 3 month period. I will setup a forum for you to enter this competition. You will have 2 weeks to enter your current Team Work score, after that the forum will be locking until the 3 month period is complete. Note: Only members who have entered there in game name and Team Work score will be eligible to win this medal.

Combat Action Medal (Top Global Score)
Combat Action Medal, will be earned by the member, with the biggest increase in Global Score points in a 3 month period. I will setup a forum for you to enter this competition. You will have 2 weeks to enter your current Global Score, after that the forum will be locking until the 3-month period is complete. Note: Only members who have entered there in game name and Global Score will be eligible to win this medal.

Humanitarian Service Medal (Top Donator)
Humanitarian Service Medal is awarded to the top donator each quarter. This member has donated his/her hard-earned cash to the [MIA] community. They donated the most cash for the quarter to the community. This award will be in the form of an actual Military Humanitarian Service Medal, which will be sent to their home.

Outstanding Donation Service Medal (6 months Donation)
Outstanding Donation Service Medal is awarded to members that donate $10 or more for 6 months (non-consecutive) Your first one (6 months) is your basic badge, your second (12 months) advanced and your third (18 months) Expert. At the 24-month mark, you will receive a Humanitarian Service Medal. This will be a medal that is sent to your home.
 

[MIA] Clan Ribbons

Legion of Honor
The Legion of Honor [LoH] award is set aside for very outstanding members who have proven a long history of participation in the MIAClan.net community and servers. LoH recipients are awarded twice a year. Members who receive this award should be respected for their monumental contributions to the MIAClan.net community. A member’s level of contribution both at the MIAClan.net servers as well as their general level of activity within the whole community can and will be considered. There are several specific requirements before even being considered for this award. A minimum of six (6) months of MIAClan.net clan membership is required, as well as six (6) months of clear disciplinary records. If a member meets these requirements during the LoH award review period, they will be considered. The LoH award status awarded solely by the Administrator/Leader of MIAClan.net, and the above requirements plus your overall level of MIAClan.net participation will be reviewed. A bonus of 200 clan points will be awarded to Legion of Honor recipients.

Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service [DS] award is given to members who have proven themselves as high-level supporters of [MIA] Clan based on their degree of participation and contribution to the MIACLAN.NET server and the MIAClan.net community. The DS award has several requirements, including three (3) months of MIACLAN.NET membership as well as three (3) months of MIACLAN.NET status without any disciplinary actions in their file. DS recipients demand a level of respect for their ongoing contributions for the MIAClan.net community. Their consistent level of participation on MIACLAN.NET such as contest entries, idea submissions and other areas will be looked at. Also, their degree of knowledge in game and their willingness to help others increase their level of game knowledge will also be greatly considered. Having earned the Recruiting Ace award for referring new members to MIACLAN.NET will also play well for DS candidates. The MIACLAN.NET Administrator and the MIACLAN.NET Officer Staff will vote from a group of candidates for the DS award. DS recipients will be awarded at any time during the year that the Staff Officers feel a member has proven themselves as a outstanding member of the MIAClan.net community. A bonus of 100 Leader Points will be given to DS recipients.

Meritorious Member Award
The Meritorious Member [MM] award is an honorable award given to members of MIACLAN.NET who have exhibited a high degree of participation and contribution to the MIACLAN.NET site. MM recipients are awarded 3 times a year (once every 4 months) by a vote from the MIACLAN.NET Administrator and MIACLAN.NET Officer Staff. A requirement of three (3) months of MIACLAN.NET membership is the only prerequisite for this award, but the Admin and Staff will closely look at the MM candidate’s level of participation on the forums, including consistent contest entry, idea submissions, and other areas. A member’s degree of MIAClan.net game knowledge and willingness to assist others to gain experience is considered. MM recipients should be respected for their above-average commitment to the improvement of MIACLAN.NET. A bonus of 75 Leader Points will be given to MM recipients.

Staff Commendation Award
The Staff Commendation [SC] award is set aside for active Officer Staff Members of MIACLAN.NET. The SC is awarded by the MIACLAN.NET Administrator 4 times a year (once every 3 months) to Officer Staff Members who have performed above and beyond their roles. Staff members are held to a higher degree of participation, and as such, it requires exceptional contributions from an Officer Staff member to be selected for this award. The SC award demands a high degree of respect from other Officer Staff members and MIACLAN.NET members alike. SC recipients have a requirement of a minimum of 3 months of being active MIA Member. Other criteria will be a review of the candidates level of forum participation, additional contribution (via subscription, donation, or other method), and overall commitment to improving the MIACLAN.NET site and community. SC recipients will receive a bonus of 100 Leader Points.

Good Conduct Award
Good Conduct awards are selected 4 times a year (once every 3 months) and are given in recognition of a strong history of positive service to the MIACLAN.NET servers and general MIAClan.net community. Valued Members have shown their support of MIAClan.net servers and through contributions on MIACLAN.NET community in any variety of positive ways. . The GC award has several requirements, including three (3) months of MIACLAN.NET membership as well as three (3) months of MIACLAN.NET status without any disciplinary actions in their file. They are voted in on merit by their fellow members. Initial candidates will first be chosen by the MIACLAN.NET Staff. After new selection of Good Conduct recipients are selected, a similar ribbon that contains a 3 silver stars instead of gold stars are given to members who have held this award during the prior term. Good Conduct recipients also receive a bonus of 75 Leader Points.

Officer Staff Member Award
The Officer Staff Member [OSM] ribbon is given to a member of MIACLAN.NET Officer Staff after their first full month of active Officer Staff service. It is a ribbon that denotes the member’s voluntary role to help improve the quality of the MIACLAN.NET site and community. A similar ribbon that contains a silver star instead of a gold star is given to Staff members who have retired their position after a minimum of 6 months on active Officer Staff.


Subscriber Award
The Subscriber [S] ribbon is given to members who have chosen to contribute financially to the MIACLAN.NET site and community. The ribbon is given to both Premier (=>$20) and Basic Subscribers (<$20) after their 1st full month of subscription status. A silver star is added for every additional 3 months of subscription status. A single gold star will replace the silver stars upon the first full year of subscription status. A 2nd gold star will be added after an additional 6 months and 3rd gold star will be added after the 2nd full year of subscription status. No additional clusters are available for this ribbon.
 

Donator Award
The Donator [D] ribbon is given to members who have donated a minimum of $10 to MIACLAN.NET. Donations are one-time monetary contributions to MIACLAN.NET and are used to help support the MIACLAN.NET servers as well as other improvements to the site and events. There is no minimum of maximum amount of times a member can donate. The minimum requirement for the ribbon is simply a combined total of $10 donation. A silver star is added once a total donation of $25 is reached. A 2nd silver star will be added when a total of $50 is donated A 3rd silver star will be added when a total of $100 is donated. A gold star replaces the silver once a total donation of $150 is reached. A 2nd gold star will be added when a total of $300 is donated. A 3rd gold star will be added when a total of $500 is donated. No additional clusters are available for this ribbon.

Special Projects Award
The Special Projects [SP] ribbon is set aside for members who have voluntarily committed their time to developing a special project in the MIAClan.net community. Past special projects have included our site Calendar, web site advertisement, BF2142 award and rank info, etc. Additional special projects will come around, and this award will be given to contributing members. An additional gold star will be added for each additional Special Project a member commits to. A total of 3 gold stars is the maximum available clusters for the SP ribbon. Each special project also entails an award of Leader Points. The amount will differ based on the complexity of the project.

Advanced Recruiting Ace
The Recruiting Ace award [RA] is given to members who have consistently contributed to MIAClan.net by referring new recruits to our clan. The ribbon is given to members who have recruited a minimum of 2 members. A silver star will be added for every additional member who have registered, met the minimum recruit requirements as listed on the recruit forum post and attained a full member status. A single gold star will replace the silver stars once a minimum of a 6-member referral has been reached. A 2nd gold star will be added once a 7 member referral has been reached. . A 3rd gold star will be added once a 8-member referral has been reached. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.
 



Expert Recruiting Ace
The Recruiting Ace award [RA] is given to members who have consistently contributed to MIAClan.net by referring new recruits to our clan. The ribbon is given to members who have recruited a minimum of 9 members. A silver star will be added for every additional member who have registered, met the minimum recruit requirements as listed on the recruit forum post and attained a full member status. A single gold star will replace the silver stars once a minimum of an 13-member referral has been reached. A 2nd gold star will be added once a 14-member referral has been reached. . A 3rd gold star will be added once a 15-member referral has been reached. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.

Distinguished Recruting Ace
The Distinguished Recruiting Ace [DRA] award will be given to a member who has a minimum of 15 active recruits. DRA award must retire their participation in future Dstinguished Recruiting Ace awards to allow other members a greater chance of winning. The ribbon is given to the member to distinguish them as an exceptional participation in MIAClan.net contests. Additionally, a member who is awarded the DRA ribbon will receive a bonus of 75 Leader Points.

MIAClan.net Contest Entrant
This ribbon [CE] is given to a member once they have successfully entered one of MIACLAN.NET’s Contests. This contest include logos contests, video contest, wallpaper contests, challenges, etc…An additional silver star is added for each additional entry. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member enters into a 5th contest. A 2nd gold star is given once a 10th contest is entered and a 3rd gold star is given for a 15th entry. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.

MIAClan.net Contest Winner
This ribbon [CW] is given to a member who has won 1st place in a contest. An additional silver star is awarded for each subsequent contest win. Once a member wins 7 Contests they are eligible for the Distinguished Contest ribbon.

Distinguished Contest Recipient
The Distinguished Contest [DCR] award will be given to a member who has won a minimum of 7 contests based on ones held at MIACLAN.NET. This contest include logos contests, video contest, wallpaper contests, challenges, etc… The recipient of the DCR award must retire their participation in future Contest Recipient contests to allow other members a greater chance of winning. The ribbon is given to the member to distinguish them as an exceptional participation in MIAClan.net contests. This member will also hold a special decision-making ability in certain scenarios concerning contests. If there is ever a tie in a future contests, the 1 or more DCR recipients have the option of placing a vote and being a tiebreaker for the contest. Additionally, a member who is awarded the DCR ribbon will receive a bonus of 75 Leader Points.



Advanced Battle Participation Ribbon
This ribbon [ABP] is given to a member once they have successfully participated in 10 practices, scrimmages or matches. An additional Silver Star is added for every 10 practices, scrimmages or matches. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member earns 50 practices, scrimmages or matches. A 2nd gold star is given for 60 and a 3rd gold star is given for 70. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.



Expert Battle Participation Ribbon
This ribbon [EBP] is given to a member once they have successfully participated in 80 practices, scrimmages or matches. An additional Silver Star is added for every 10 practices, scrimmages or matches. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member earns 120 practices, scrimmages or matches. A 2nd gold star is given for 130 and a 3rd gold star is given for 140. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.

Distinguished Battle Participation Ribbon
The Distinguished Battle Participation [DBP] is given to a member participated in a minimum of 150 practices, scrimmages or matches. The recipient of the DBP award must retire their participation in future fiction contests to allow other members a greater chance of winning. The ribbon is given to the member to distinguish them as an exceptional Participation of practices, scrimmages or matches. Once ribbon is retired (new members selected) it will be replaced with a ribbon that contains silver stars instead of gold to show that you were a former recipient of this award. Additionally, a member who is awarded the DBP ribbon will receive a bonus of 75 Leader Points.

Advanced Forum Post Recognition
This ribbon [AFPR] is given to a member once they have successfully posted 50 posts to our forums. An additional Silver Star is added for each additional 50 posts. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member posts 250 posts. A 2nd gold star is given for 400 posts and a 3rd gold star is given for 500. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.

Expert Forum Post Recognition
This ribbon [EFPR] is given to a member once they have successfully posted 600 posts to our forums. An additional Silver Star is added for each additional 100 posts. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once member posts 1000 posts. A 2nd gold star is given for 1500 posts and a 3rd gold star is given for 2000. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.

Distinguished Forum Post Recognition
The Distinguished Forum Post Recognition [DFPR] is given to a member who has posted a minimum of 250 forum posts. The recipient of the DFPR award must retire their participation in future Forum Post nomonies to allow other members a greater chance of winning. Once ribbon is retired it will be replaced with a ribbons that contains silver stars instead of gold. The ribbon is given to the member to distinguish them as an exceptional MIAClan.net forum member. Additionally, a member who is awarded the DFPR ribbon will receive a bonus of 75 Leader Points.

Advance Points Leader
This ribbon [APL] is given to a member once they have successfully earned 100 Leader Points. An additional Silver Star is added for every 100 Leader Points. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member earns 500 Leader Points. A 2nd gold star is given for 750 posts and a 3rd gold star is given for 1000. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.

Expert Points Leader
This ribbon [EPL] is given to a member once they have successfully earned 1000 Leader Points. An additional Silver Star is added for every 250 Leader Points. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member has 2000 Leader Points. A 2nd gold star is given for 3000 points and a 3rd gold star is given for 4000 points. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.



Distinguished Points Leader
Distinguished Points Leader [DPL] is given to a member who has a minimum of 4000 Leader Points. The recipient of the DPL award must retire their participation in future fiction contests to allow other members a greater chance of winning. The ribbon is given to the member to distinguish them as exceptional MIAClan.net members that have earned Leader Points by participating in the MIAClan.net web site content. Additionally, a member who is awarded the DPL ribbon will receive a bonus of 75 Leader Points.


[MIA] Clan Membership Recognition
This ribbon [MIACLAN.NET] is used to follow the length of time a member has been a part of the MIACLAN.NET community. The ribbon is awarded to members who have been an active member for at least 3 months. An additional silver star will be awarded for every additional 3 months of active membership, with a maximum of 3 silver stars. A single gold star will replace the silver stars once 18 months of active membership is achieved. A 2nd gold star is given for 2 years of active membership, and a 3rd gold star is given for 3 full years of active membership. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.


[MIA] Clan Gold Membership Ribbon
This ribbon is giving to members who have more than 3 years of active membership. [MIA] Gold Members have shown their support of MIAClan.net servers and through contributions on MIACLAN.NET community in the many years they have been with the clan. . The ribbon is given to the member to distinguish them as an exceptionally dedicated members and should be given the utmost respect as [MIA] Clan Gold Members.

Top Player Ribbons

These ribbons are awarded to the [MIA] members that has the most point in the particular category. The categories include: Player listed in EA Top 20 in any category, Top Pilot, Top Armor, Top Recon, Top Assault, Top Engineer, Top Support, Top Knife and Top Pistol.

MIAClan.net Champion
The MIAClan.net Champion [MC] ribbon is awarded to a member who successfully wins one of MIACLAN.NET’s standard MIAClan.net Tournaments based on a monthly contest that will be held in our practice server. A silver star will be added for each additional win. A single gold star will replace 3 silver stars upon the 5th win. If a member takes home one additional win after the 5th win row, they will be awarded with 3 gold stars on their ribbon, but the member must retire their participation in the standard MIAClan.net Tournament to allow other members more opportunity to win. The addition of 2 more gold stars will be a reminder of this member’s exceptional skill at playing BF. Additional Leader Points will be awarded for each Tournament win.


MIAClan.net Tournament Entrant
This ribbon [MTE] is given to a member once they have successfully entered one of MIAClan.net’s standard MIAClan.net Tournaments. An additional silver star is added for each additional entry. A single gold star replaces the silver stars once a member enters into a 5th contest. A 2nd gold star is given once a 10th contest is entered and a 3rd gold star is given for a 15th entry. This is the maximum amount of clusters available for this ribbon.
