Heroes Cafe' (Try to Stay in Character)

Welcome to a general chill-out place for role-playing the Royals way.

Basic rules:

1. All text that is not in-character - color it in white
2. Text that defines actions and things that happens are in green
3. Stay as much in-character as possible.
4. Nobody will get killed or seriously hurt, we're all on the same team.
5. No character is perfect, try to make your character's personality as deep and thought-out as possible.
6. Have fun, but don't over-do it, nobody's Jesus around here, an officer won't stay officer for long if he abuses his power.
7. Don't spam!

Scenario:
The café is located somewhere along the way where the National army travel to the frontlines, it is run by locals but is currently dedicated to the soldiers.
The locale is in one plane, it has a few tables for two, four and eight people.

How we do it:
When entering, tell the other players what they see (your position in the army would probably be seen from your badges or appearance, so state briefly what/who you are), how you enter and what you do (preferably colored in green)
Do something!

We just arrived in town and my guys saw a cafe' that welcomed all soldiers so we decided to go in...

I opened the door and realized this place was run by those loyal royals. "Is there any chance you guys sell whiskey in here", I said.
All the Royals looked up at me with a look of anger on their face. I knew they didn't want us to be here, but it didn't matter to use. This Cafe' was for all the soldiers and like it or not
we were going to get us some whiskey.
We sat down as the bar and the bartender poured us a couple shots. "Bottoms up soldiers", I told my squad. As I put the shot glass back on the table I announced, " I am UnderVonTaker an officer for the National Army, I have tasted a lot of whiskey in my life as this is by far the best I have ever had." "What is it that makes your whiskey so great?" I asked the bartender. "The Royals do not drink so until this war, the whiskey has been aging for years."
I knew there was something I liked about this place and aged whiskey was definitely what we needed as we prepared for war. We ordered another round.

For people wondering how to do green text, use the font color list!!

I entered the bar, as mucky and run-down as it was. I had seen finer places on the front lines, places that had everything, including the women. Ah, the women. Which, to my dismay, this place clearly lacked.

As I took a seat at one of the tables, I noticed that most of the soldiers in the bar were Royals. Royals make good cannon fodder. They probably noticed the medals I currently lack on my coat, but most were visually disturbed by my presence. And who wouldn't? I had on me a Back Eastern-Style hat, a pitch-black coat, and a blue bandanna which covered my face. "I'm surprised," I said as I ordered some beer for myself, "I thought Royals weren't supposed to drink."

This, of course, brought me some glares which seemed to translate to: Give me a gun and I'll kill you. Which, I payed no heed to. I noticed some dirt on my gun, and decided to polish it as I awaited for my beer to arrive.

As I entered the bar,I noticed a smell,then I looked and saw the Royals were there at the bar,figures.UnderVonTaker,while taking his shot of whiskey and AmericanEagle301(disguised name) waiting for his beer,I noticed all the Royals were busy looking at these cats,so I vanished in a dust of smoke and headed invisible to the head.I walked in and saw a Royals uniform on the table.It was the stinky Royals Leader Alex2142hp's uniform,as I looked for that stinker,I put the uniform on and walked very slowly with the ugly hat on and was hoping no one from the Royals noticed my hairy legs wearing Alex's kilt(cause he shaves his legs).I went to the bar and ordered a shot of whiskey,as I turned to give AmericanEalgle301 a wink,I downed the shot with all the Royals looking on with dismay and lack of respect.I walked back into the head and took the outfit off and dashed just as fast back to my seat next to UnderVonTaker,waiting for some fun to happen.Now it's my turn to take a shot.First off ,where was Alex,second, will the Royals ever forgive and give respect back to their whiskey drinking leader,and three,heck it took a whole mo. to get that smell off of me after wearing Alex's uniform,lol.

Naughty Nationals,move out.Onward and Upward.It's time we exterminate these Royals and Rule the World !!!

As the Royals entered the Bar we overheard the argument between 2 couples

Budweiser911 tells his wife (UnderVonTaker) he is heading to the bartender to see his old girlfriend (AmericanEagle30) to see if he can get a free drink. His wife starts complaining you never take me anywhere anymore. After hours of complaining Budweiser911 agrees to take UnderVonTaker to the bartender. They sit down at the bar table and Budweiser911 gets up to go to the restroom. While he was gone a Royal Army Soldier with the name alex2142hp walks up to UnderVonTaker and tells her he wants to turn her upside down fill her with beer and drink her dry. UnderVonTaker explains, "you sick pervert get out of my sight. Budweiser returned and his wife told him what happened and to go kick that guy's a@@. Budweiser911 said, "No way you don't mess with a Royal who can drink that much beer".

I looked at Alex2142 with a puzzled expression on my face. I guess since their male soldiers shave their legs and their women don't he mistook my for a woman. I stood up and was about 3 foot taller then this guy that looked like Lord Farquad from Shrek. I looked at the medals and badges on him uniform and realized I better let it go for now. "We will settle this on the battlefield my little mini-me impersonator!" I said as I ordered another shoot of whiskey.

then killerjoker walks into the cafe and walks up to his buddy budwiser911and ask if he could join him budwiser911 states that the table is full to try back later as i walk out telling budwiser911 to watch out on the battlefield killerjoker happens to see alex2142hp standing across the street scopeing in on budwiser911's head as budwiser being a friend of killerjoker eventhough is angry killerjoker gets into his jeep and backs stright up attempting to run over alex2142hp to protect he fellow buddy.

go killerjoker bring on the jeeps tanks and enemy bodys i will run them all down!!!!!!

My beer arrives and I observe all this and ask one simple question..."Cool jeep...Where did you get it? And how are going to run him down with a jeep in a bar? And aren't you drinking & driving?"

Don't drink and drive, drink THEN drive. Its too hard to sip beer while you've got your hand on the wheel!

killerjoker tells americaneagle301 he stole the jeep from budwisers911's old girlfriend and killerjoker walked outside to show americanegle how he got into the jeep to run down alex2142hp killerjoker then tells americaneagle301 then i havnt been able to get a drink yet table was full and so i was going to leave

if you drink and drive use a very large straw or a despensing helmin to hold 2 beers lol

The door opened only slightly as a figure slide inside and closing it behind him. His entire body was covered in dust from head to toe, he took his hat off and hit the cap along his leg a few times, dust blew into the air and remained there for a few seconds before floating down towards the floor, the whole effect looked as if tinkle bell was hit by a truck and it only amused the new arrival.

The stranger adjusts his monocle out of nervousness, he can sense the tension in the air, He can feel that it is so thick you could cut it with a spork. He noticed a few nervous Royals watching him from the back corner, he can see in their eyes that they had just learned to walk a few years ago but they are very eager for a fight. "Hopefully they aren't too gun ho for battle today" the national thought to himself, almost as a plea to the unknown gods.

The new arrival reaches inside his jacket and paused for a second, he realized that a few royals were pulling out their weapons slowly while they watched him. The new arrival continued to pull out a thick yellow envelope glaring at the royals as put their weapons back and acted like they didn't do any thing that last minute except focusing on their drinks. He quietly looked around until he saw UnderVonTaker and gave a brief sigh of relief and stiffly walked over to him.

He noticed UnderVonTaker was having some sort disagreement with the royals and that it was more of staring contest than a verbal battle. The dusty national stood next to the officer and did a quick salute "New Recruit sir, Questos Ravenbrew, I have brought you a package sir" he said as he winced, knowing that Saluting in the bar could start a bar fight at any moment. Before he let UnderVonTaker respond he dropped the Envelope in front of UnderVonTaker and headed straight over to the bar and demanded milk from the bartender, who more busy killing cockroaches with some beer mugs.

From the shadowy corner of the bar came a loud knocking sound as the black-leather-clad DoctorM119 set his beer on the table. No one had noticed when he had snuck in. He was glad that he had placed a number of traps in case the current situation between UnderVonTaker and Alex2142hp escalated. The slamming of the beer almost unsettled his rifle, a Stefan's Sharpshooter, but at the last second it returned to its place. All the Royal's saw though was the knife lodged in the table. The most distinctive part of this knife was the tally's on the blade, one for every kill with it. Killing with the rifle was preferable for one's safety but it was a cold distant way to do one's enemy in. With the knife the conflict became personal, passionate. You got to see the look on their face as they realized their final mistake. He caught himself in one of his random tangent's.

The Royal that looked to be a leader was dressed very oddly, even for a Royal. The funny skirt and hat made him look like a fun target to backstab if he didn't spend his days time hiding behind the armor of a tank he would realize that and maybe dress a bit more inconspicuous. The National recruit received his milk after which the bartender continued his insect annihilation. UnderVonTaker slid the envelope discretely into his jacket and returned to his drink. Hopefully it was an order for an assassination, Doc was getting a tad bored with this bar. Maybe the current events would change that.

I walk proudly into the pub with its heavy oak wooden doors hearing the creaking of the hinge or the cries of the men I had slayed
As I think what A great day to sip goats milk with my brother royals and to my dismay I see the dogs had dragged in a few nationals and of rank at that.
My knife is tired from the days battle but my heart was ready when I looked to the shadows of the corner i had seen my medals on another noble brother and as I glance throughout the room I see our numbers are strong.
I noted A national writing scribbles of victory on the wall .
But this of only a lost hope As I know there time is a short one so without worries I sit with my brothers and bark out bartend DOUBLE MILK for I will shave my legs with there broken teeth after the morns battle

As Jokerman took AmericanEagle301 outside to show him his new jeep and paint job with custom rims,the Royals noticed that myself and UnderVonTaker were the only ones left in the bar,as UnderVonTaker had sent his squad back to the barracks.Alex and the Royals felt this is their chance,that the balance was uneven.All the Royals stood up and started walking towards us.I stood up and stared into Alex's Braveheart painted face and checked out his cute skirt,as Alex started to say"Say something,anything and see what happens"I looked at him straight in the eyes and said "WHAT'S ONE PLUS ONE",at that moment the Royals behind Alex said "AH MAN" and their heads dropped as they huddled up together.I turned to UnderVonTaker and said "IT'S FRIDAY,TIME TO START STUFF"we started to walk out and I told UnderVonTaker that "THE ROYALS WILL BE BUSY TRYING TO FIGURE THAT PROB. OUT,LET'S GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE THEY TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES TO HELP THEM FIGURE OUT THE PROB." .So we met up with Jokerman and AmericanEagle301 as we bumped down the road with Jokerman's 24 inch. speakers in his jeep to the sounds of the New Naughty Remix version of the BFH Theme song,with Bolt beat boxing in the background.

Since this seems to have died out....let's get it going!!! Very Happy

Unfortunatly for the people in the jeep, the speakers blew out from the overload of sound, causing
Jokerman to make the car do a 180, and slam into a bar outside the bar, which caused the jeep's engine to be ruined and smoking.

AmericanEagle walked back into the bar (the place) and order another whisky as he sat down at an empty table...

I also walked back in to the Cafe'. Looks like we got a new kid in town.. Questos was his name. We heard a lot about this guy, he appears to be the editor of some fancy comic strip company. He has now decided to join the war.
I was glad he was on our side. This guy stood about 6'5" and had a deathly look upon his face. I went up to talk with him and the other nationals join me.
