TEAMSPEAK:

-Before all else, go get Teamspeak and install it if you haven't already. Below is a link to download it
-First go to this link:

-You can connect to our teamspeak server through our website. You should see a box located on the left side of the screen labeled TeamSpeak. Click on the connect button.



You will then get a screen that looks like the one below. Add your in game nick to the Nickname box and leave the other two boxes blank. You will not use them until you are register with our Teamspeak.

-Once on you must ask one of the Server Admins (the guys that have SA after their names) for registration rights,
once they do that, click on the 'Self' tab, then 'Register with Server'. You may have to right click on their name and text message them. In this box enter the same name as your in-game name and choose a password.

Once you have registered correctly you will see an R by your name. This will allow you to move around in the channels freely. The next time you logon to Teamspeak through our site you will put your in game name name in the "Nickname" box and the login name and password that you used in the other two boxes.
(Note: You'll know you did it right when you join the Teamspeak server and you automatically have a R next to your name)
**You can also use a shortcut to auto login to Teamspeak. Here is the syntax: teamspeak://64.34.184.216:8767/?nickname=Yournickname?loginname=yourloinname?password=yourpassword By replacing inserting your own info you can create an auto login to our Teamspeak server.  After you add your info, save the full link to your favorites :-) **

MIAClan.net TS KEYBINDS::

-With keybinds set up you can move through our channels without leaving game using the predefined keybinds shown in the picture below. This comes in hady for when you leave one server and move to another.
-To import these keybinds download the keybinds file from the link below and then in TS go to 'Settings' then 'Key Settings'.
Click on 'import' and point it to the keybinds.kbn file you downloaded from the link below.

TSO (Teamspeak Overlay):

-TSO is tool that will allow you to see who is talking on TS in-game. It's very helpful.
-Download and install the TSO installer from the link below.
-Run it, go to Options, in the 'General' tab type in your TS name exactly the way you use it (caps too).
-In the 'displays' tab set Speaker List and Log Roller to right, and disable the last two in that drop-down menu.
-Now go to the 'Debug' tab, and make sure that the 'Use Alternate DirectX Method' is checked.
-Click done, and that's it. So when you're about to play 2142 run TSO, click enable, and then run 2142.
-When you get out of game disable it and close it.

-If you want to get rid of the beta warning and having to press enable every time you start TSO then create a shortcut to TSO on your desktop, right-click on it, go to properties, and add this text to the 'Target' line in the properties of the desktop shortcut: /AUTO /NOBETAWARNING

-It should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\TSO\tso.exe" /AUTO /NOBETAWARNING

AUTO EA/SERVER LOGIN:

-Right click on the 2142 shortcut on your desktop and go to properties.
-Add this text after the word fullscreen to the 'Target' line and after you're done hit apply then ok.
+eaAccountName xxxxxxxx +eaAccountPassword xxxxxxxx +soldierName xxxxxxxx
-Please note you will have to erase the parts with xxxxxxxx and put in your info.

-It should look like this: (people with EA Link version use the first example and people with the CD/DVD version use the second.)

Note: if you would also like it to auto join a server then add this switch after the SoldierName switch:
+joinServer xxxxxxx (fill in with server's IP address)

So this would be an example of what it would look like for someone using the EAlink version auto-joining our 24/7 Suez:

In-game Admin:
Note: This is only for [MIA] and =DiG= members

-Read this doc file to understand how to use it.
